Temp Drop Cold Plunge Chiller - 1/2 HP

What's needed

• Max volume it can hold at 39°F: Around 130 Gallons
• Cool-down time: roughly 3 hours to take 100 gallons from 70°F to 39°F.
• Works with: stock tanks, poly barrels, inflatable tubs, chest-freezer builds, hot tub shells, our own tub.
• You'll need: a vessel, two hose connections, and a GFCI outlet. If your tub has no ports, a bulkhead fitting or an over-the-edge hose run both work.
• Power: standard 110V.

📦 What's In The Box

1. The Core Unit

• 1/2 HP Industrial Chiller: The heavy-duty cooling engine with digital temperature display.

⚠️ Important: System Requirements
This is a standalone component for DIY builders. It does NOT include:

• No Tub: You must provide your own vessel (Stock tank, barrel, or existing tub).
• No Plumbing Kit: Does not include the "San Diego Connection Kit" (Pre-assembled hoses, manifold, or upgraded high-flow pump).

The Setup

About 10 minutes.

Step 1: Set the chiller on a flat surface within 3 feet of your tub, with clearance at the intake vents.

Step 2: Run the outlet hose from the pump to the chiller inlet, and the chiller outlet back to the tub. If your tub has ports, connect through them; if not, run both lines over the rim.

Step 3: Fit a filter before the chiller inlet.

Step 4: Plug into a GFCI outlet and set your temperature on the digital display.

You supply: A vessel, and one standard outlet.

Chiller Maintenance

Monthly: Vacuum dust off the intake vents.

Always: Run a filter before the chiller inlet to catch hair and debris.

Water chemistry: Keep it balanced to prevent calcium buildup in the heat exchanger. (Try our water maintenance kit for everything you need to keep your water crystal clear.)

Important: Inspect Upon Arrival
This is a heavy piece of machinery (~40 lbs).

• Please inspect the box immediately upon delivery.
• If you notice severe damage (dents, punctures) to the unit, take photos and contact us immediately at support@tempdroplabs.com so we can file a claim and arrange a replacement.

Processing Time

• Orders are processed within 24 hours.

Warranty Coverage

• Chiller: Covered by a 1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. If the mechanics fail, we assist you in the repair or replacement process.

Return Policy

• 30-Day Window: If you don't love your chiller, return it for a full refund.
• Condition: Items must be in good condition and not have signs of use or scratches/dents. You can try it out, but we cannot accept chillers that have been run for a prolonged period of time (30 days+).
