At Temp Drop Labs, we stand behind the quality of our DIY kits. However, because our products involve heavy machinery and hygienic surfaces (tubs), we have specific guidelines for returns and refunds.

1. Return Window You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, dry, and in its original packaging.

2. Non-Returnable Items Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following:

  • Used Tubs: Once a tub has been inflated and filled with water, it cannot be returned.
  • Used Tubing/Hoses: Once water has cycled through the hoses, they are considered used and cannot be returned.
  • Sale Items: Gift cards or clearance items are final sale.

3. "Change of Mind" Returns (Unopened Items) If you decide you no longer want the product and it is still unopened in the original box, you may return it.

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all "change of mind" returns to cover initial shipping and handling costs.
  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please note that return shipping for the Chiller unit can be expensive due to its weight (approx. 40-50 lbs).

4. Defective or Damaged Items Please inspect your order immediately upon reception.

  • Shipping Damage: If your Chiller, Tub, or Kit arrives damaged (dented, punctured, or broken), please email us photos at [Insert Email] within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
  • Manufacturer Defects:
    • The Chiller: Covered by a limited manufacturer warranty. If the unit stops working due to a mechanical defect, we will assist you in processing a warranty claim or replacement.
    • The Connection Kit: We provide a 30-day warranty on the pump and fittings. If a part leaks or fails, we will ship you a replacement part immediately.

5. How to Start a Return To start a return, you can contact us at returns@tempdroplabs.com.

  • Do not ship items back without prior approval. We have different return addresses for the Kit vs. the Chiller. We will provide you with the correct return address and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

6. Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if the refund is approved.

  • If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

7. Order Cancellations

  • Before Shipping: If you cancel your order before you receive a tracking number, you will receive a full 100% refund.
  • After Shipping: If the item has already shipped (even if you haven't received it yet), it is treated as a Return. You will need to wait for the package to arrive and ship it back to us unused.
