Temp Drop Labs started the way most ideas do - out of frustration.
In 2025, I was living in San Diego looking for a cold plunge that wouldn't cost me $2,500. After weeks of research, I couldn't find one. So I did what any stubborn engineer would do: I walked into my garage, sourced industrial components, and built my own.
The first kit worked. Then my neighbors wanted one. Then their friends. Before long, what started as a personal project in a San Diego garage became a small business with a clear mission: make professional cold plunge performance accessible to anyone.
Ever since that first kit worked, this has grown into something bigger than me. I brought my family in, and today we run Temp Drop Labs as a small family business right here in San Diego. The hands-on assembly, the personal attention, and the obsession with getting the price right are exactly how we still operate.

When I first started looking for a cold plunge, I was shocked. I saw plastic tubs and standard water chillers being sold for the price of a used car.
I realized that these companies weren't charging for the technology. They were charging for the logo. They were charging for the warehouse, the influencer contracts, and the fancy packaging.
I refused to pay the "Luxury Tax."
So, I went to my garage in Texas and built my own. I sourced industrial-grade components, tested heavy-duty pumps, and engineered a system that hit 39°F just as fast as the big brands, for less than half the cost.
